He Got the Job!

After 3 interviews, Joel was offered the job!

I was overjoyed, and Joel was pretty mellow. He isn't super proud to be taking on this job. There really hasn't been any other job leads, though.

The position is selling life, and health care packages to retired folks. He will be using his background experience with estate planning, great personality, and repore with older folks which is good. it also isn't too far off from his talents and interests.

He is studying all this week to become licenced, will take the test this weekend, and start training classes on Monday.

One challenge is the salary is solely based on commission. Luckily, the economy hasn't affected this market...if anything it is growing with all the Boomers and people losing some of their retirement security through stocks.

Thank you for your prayers! God IS good, and has provided this position for Joel. He is going to do his best and make the most of it...sticking with it if he loves it, or going back to law work down the road when jobs open up.

We'd cherish your prayers this week as he studies and takes the test. Usually it takes 10 days to cover the material for the test, and Joel is needing to do it in 5!
